October Events

October is full of events in Assiginack.
First off is the Fall Harvest Glory Days competition put on by the Manitoulin Expositor. Decorate your house or business and our community will be judged the week of October 12th to see if we can hold our title from last year.

October 20th at 5:15 is a celebration in Debbie Robinson's honour for all the volunteering she does in the Manitoulin community. It takes place at St. Paul's church with a social and potluck to follow.

October 26th is our grand Pumpkin Festival! Click the link to get all the details and times. We have a pumpkin chuckin' contest to win $100, games for kids, horse and wagon rides, and contests including best decorated pumpkin, best recycled item and a baking contest.   Come on out from 11 am - 3 pm for a great time to our 1st ever Pumpkin Festival!

October 27th is Election Day. You should have received your Vote by Mail kit, if not contact the municipal office.

October 29th, St. Paul's Anglican Church is holding its annual Harvest Dinner.

October 29th- is a rummage sale at Knox United Church.
